PROGRAM:

Sv. Vid is situated at an altitude of 348 meters above sea level, with St. Vid chapel, built in the 14th century, on the top. There are also traces of life of the ancient Illyrians - Gradac, which provides one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the very centre of Pag and the surrounding villages Kolan, Šimuni, Novalja and Košljun and the neighbouring islands Rab, Silba, Olib and Mali Lošinj.
After breakfast we will head to the village Šimuni where the start of a hiking trail to the island’s highest peak is situated. Local guide tells you about the historical importance of the St. Vid peak, named by the pre-Christian God. It was a place of pilgrimage in the past. Pilgrims used to carry gifts in hope of better harvest. The ascent is about 75 min long; we will rest at the top for an hour and descent for about 75 min after which we return to the hotel. Sv. Vision is the perfect place for all lovers of adventure who wish to experience the island from its very top.
